- O capitão é obrigado a manter o código de ameaça de acordo com o nível de ameaça atual e garantir que o código seja reduzido para verde quando a ameaça for neutralizada.
- Somente membros do comando, seguranças ou funcionários permitidos podem tomar a decisão de alterar o nível de alerta.
- Todo o pessoal da estação, independentemente da posição, é obrigado a seguir os Procedimento Operacional Padrão, dependendo do nível de alerta. Caso não seja seguido se torna uma violação da Lei Espacial, resultando no crime de “Negligência de Responsabilidade”.
